Like many mushrooms grown or grown in an environmentally friendly environment, Veselka accumulates the entire necessary range of micro- and macroelements in its fruiting bodies. Including mushrooms in the diet is especially important for people living in urban environments and facing constant oxidative stress (disturbed sleep-wake cycles; nutritional imbalances and eating problems; chronic stress; adverse environmental factors; lack of physical activity). Therefore, mushrooms are a unique and extremely promising product of our time, capable of covering the whole range of nutritional needs of a modern person. This release form is a dual extract designed to increase the amount of bioavailable compounds. This is a highly effective method for extracting polysaccharides, triterpenes, vitamins and other beneficial substances from medicinal mushrooms.

• Veselka has a long history of use in traditional medicine in China and Europe. The mucous membrane of the veselka (the so-called “earth oil”) has long been used as an antirheumatic and antitumor agent. Fruiting bodies have also been used to treat kidney disease, gout, stomach pain, and prevent thrombosis. In some traditional medical practices, veselka is used as an aphrodisiac to increase libido and sexual performance.

• Among the biologically active components of Veselka there are polysaccharides, peptides, phospholipids, glucans, polyphenols, vitamins and unsaturated fatty acids. This abundance of bioactive substances in itself makes the mushroom a unique component of functional nutrition and nutraceutical, which can be used as a basic adaptogen, a source of antioxidants and is suitable for daily use at any age. Veselka products are able to gently regulate the activity of the main systems of the human body, including nervous, immune and endocrine, promoting an adequate response to various external pathogenic and stress factors.

• Veselka is a multifunctional tool. In studies, it has shown excellent ferrous iron chelating activity and the ability to neutralize hydroxyl radicals. This makes products containing veselka an excellent antioxidant and anti-inflammatory agent that protects the body from excessive exposure to free radicals and prevents premature aging of organs and tissues.

• An equally important property of the Veselka is immunomodulation. Fungal polysaccharides are able to influence phagocytic activity, participate in the regulation of innate and adaptive immunity, and influence the proliferation of regulatory T cells, which are involved in the mechanisms of development of autoimmune and immunodeficiency conditions. Veselka has a strong antiproliferative effect on tumors through various intracellular signaling pathways and is one of the fungi with the most pronounced antitumor properties. Can be used together with the main therapy in the treatment of oncology at any stage. Veselka is effective as a basic adaptogen during periods of colds and other stressful circumstances, in which the body’s reserve forces are depleted and require nutritional support. The mushroom is effective against herpes viruses, various forms of influenza, hepatitis and HIV

• In addition to its anti-inflammatory properties, Veselka is an inhibitor of acetylcholinesterase, an enzyme that breaks down acetylcholine, one of the most important neurotransmitters in our brain. It is its lack that is associated with the development of Alzheimer’s disease, decreased memory and cognitive functions in the human body. In studies, Veselka showed a dose-dependent effect on increasing acetylcholine levels, which, in combination with its anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties, allows us to consider the mushroom an excellent prevention of Alzheimer’s disease for people at any age.
