Mushroom ram

The therapeutic effect of maitake is mainly due to the high content of polysaccharides — β-1,6-glycans. Antiviral activity due to activation of antiviral immunity and adaptogenic effect has been confirmed in the laboratory for the fruit bodies of the ram mushroom. The ram mushroom significantly increases immune activity, and can stimulate both the innate and adaptive immune system. Due to its antiviral abilities, maitake extract is widely used in the treatment of viral hepatitis B and C. In the treatment of hepatitis B and C, the ram mushroom not only affects the virus, causing its death, but also normalizes the production of liver enzymes, the synthesis of bile acids, stops inflammation and slows down the processes of sclerosis of liver tissues. Also, the ram mushroom copes perfectly with other viral diseases (smallpox, respiratory infections, chickenpox, influenza, shingles, herpes, polio, rabies, Ebola and HIV hemorrhagic fever), bacterial diseases (coccal flora, tuberculosis, listeriosis, mycoplasmosis, etc.), fungal lesions.

Crested hedgehog

Therefore, “Russian reishi”, in addition to the classic reishi action, has many properties characteristic of chaga. Research on this mushroom in the world is just unfolding, so we need to start using it now, before prices for it soar, which will happen in the near future.

Russian cordyceps

According to its medicinal, tonic and adaptogenic properties, cordyceps armed practically does not differ from Chinese cordyceps, but is much weaker (5-10 times). This determines an impressive difference in cost. To get a similar effect, you either need to eat 5-10 times more cordyceps powder than Chinese, or use it in the form of fine powder, which significantly increases digestibility. In general, in terms of the use of “Russian” cordyceps, it is similar to Chinese in everything, including increasing immunity.

Chaga

Chaga contains water–soluble chromogens – derivatives of phenolic aldehydes, polyphenols, oxyphenol carboxylic acids and their quinones, as well as humin-like chaga acid (up to 60%), polysaccharides (beta-glucans), lignin, fiber, phytosterols (for example, lanosterol and ergosterol), pteric compounds, organic acids (including oxalic acid up to 4.5%), triterpenic acids (including betulinic acid), free phenols, salts of silicon, iron, aluminum, calcium, magnesium, sodium, zinc, copper, manganese, potassium. The pronounced physiological activity of chaga preparations is due to the presence of a large amount of chaga acid, which dissolves in water and gives infusions of this mushroom a brown hue. Chaga increases the protective reactions of the body, activates the metabolism in the brain tissue, which is manifested by an increase in the bioelectric activity of the cerebral cortex. Chaga acts anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and also delays the growth of some tumors and enhances the cytostatic effects of cyclophosphane.
Chaga activates the metabolism in the brain tissue, normalizes the work of the stomach and intestines. Chaga stimulates the immune system by exhibiting an immunomodulatory effect against cytokinins and interleukins, and increasing the production and activity of macrophages and natural killers. The antiviral activity of the infusion of chaga was confirmed due to the content of betulin, hypolone, lupeol and mycosterols.

Trametes multicolored

In general, the mushroom has a beneficial effect on the immune system. It stands out among fungi as a producer of various biologically active substances and antibiotics that affect even viruses, including the AIDS virus. From various strains of trametes multicolored in Japan, the drug “Krestin” (Krestin) is obtained, in other countries its analogues (in China — PSP and IPPV, in the Southern Crust — Copolang) have antitumor effect in the treatment of various forms of cancer.
Krestin (in the scientific literature – PSK, Polysaccharide-K), the active principle of which is immunomodulating protein-containing polysaccharides extracted from the mycelial mass of this fungus and other polysaccharide preparations from trametes multicolored have until recently been widely used in oncology in the treatment of cancer of the stomach, esophagus, rectum, ovaries, uterus and cervix, prostate, bladder, acute leukemia, most often in combination with chemotherapy or radiotherapy, as well as with conventional and cryosurgery in the postoperative period and as a means of maintenance therapy. The drugs really regulate the work of the immune system, enhance cellular immunity, restore the immune response lowered in cancer patients, have antiviral and antibacterial effects, increase the effectiveness of anti-cancer drugs, contribute to detoxification of the body, have antimetastatic activity, reduce hematological suppression caused by antitumor drugs. Nevertheless, large-scale clinical studies in recent years have shown that the effect of drugs based on the christening is not at all so comprehensive and unambiguous. When used in combination with some chemotherapy regimens (and only with them, but not independently) PSK can indeed benefit patients after surgical removal of stomach cancer and colorectal cancer, but the results of long-term clinical trials in patients with breast cancer, leukemia and liver cancer do not always remain convincing.
The effectiveness of the christening is unequivocally confirmed in liver diseases of various etiologies.
