Owners of pets and livestock workers are recommended to undergo preventive courses in therapeutic dosages 1-2 times a year. • Yellow chanterelle (Cantharellus cibarius) is a unique superfood that improves vision and has a wide range of antiparasitic and hepatoprotective activity. Due to specific polysaccharides, especially chitinmannose, chanterelle has powerful broad-spectrum anthelmintic properties and can kill not only adult individuals, but also break the reproduction cycle, affecting the eggs and larvae of parasites. The fiber contained in chanterelle in large quantities helps to promptly remove helminths from the body, bypassing possible intoxication from their decay products. Chanterelle can also be used during colds and stimulate the immune response to various pathogens, including viruses. • Immortelle (Helichrysum arenarium) is widely used in folk medicine due to its choleretic, diuretic, anti-inflammatory and detoxifying properties. Due to the high amount of flavonoids that affect the contraction of the gallbladder, increased secretion and rheology of bile, immortelle is an excellent preventative and stimulant of the body’s natural defense against parasitic invasion. Immortelle has also been well studied for antibacterial activity – its extracts are active against Aeromonas Hydrophila, B. brevis, B. cereus, Klebsiella pneumoniae, Pseudomonas aeruginosa and S.aureus and other pathogens.
• Black walnut (Juglans nigra) is often used in modern herbal medicine as an antifungal, antiparasitic, antiviral, choleretic and laxative. Due to the high content of tannins and naphthoquinones (tannin and juglone), black walnut is capable of affecting both mature helminths and having a detrimental effect on the intermediate stages of parasite development in the body. Its laxative and choleretic effects help to quickly remove helminths and their waste products from the body.
